Deb Fit for Photos.....

the following was written by deb....

I opened an email from Scott Colby,
an online personal trainer also known as the Abs Expert.
I've followed his workout and nutrition advice for a long time now,
but this particular email with the subject line of “Fit for Photos” really interested me.
Scott talked about his 35 day program
that would give all the workouts and nutrition
to follow for 35 days, then at the end,
participants would have their very own photo shoot to show off all their hard work.
2 reasons I decided to do this was,
#1 - I was going to turn the big “50” in March 2014,
#2 – When Valerie Bertinelli posed on a magazine cover
in a bikini at age 49, and looked fantastic,
I told myself before or at age 50, I would have photos taken of me in a bikini.
So, I signed up and told myself no matter what, I would stick to it.
It was not easy, by any means, but it was doable.
The first 2 to 3 weeks were hard because even though I was sticking to it,
I was not really seeing the results I wanted.
And there were obstacles, like when my basement took in water
and I spent 3 days bailing it out.
Another was when I had 10 straight days of tennis matches,
but I still had to get my workouts in.
But, Scott knows what he is doing.
He set us participants up in teams to keep us accountable,
and required us to log in our food and workouts.
So day 35 came, I had my photo shoot scheduled, and my bikinis purchased.
I tried them on, and oh my gosh,
I was amazed and so very happy with what I saw.
I was toned and defined, and what Scott said would happen had happened!
Add a spray tan and I was ready to go.
 My photographer Kelsy,
who also is my hairdresser and an awesome one at that,
gave me one of the most rewarding and fun times I have ever had for myself.
I felt beautiful, sexy and fit!
Yes I had worked hard and yes I had been frustrated at times,
but it was all WORTH IT!!
And not only for the photos, but also for the way I feel and look now.
